Challenge
Disconnected ERP and commerce environments requiring manual synchronisation across multiple Shopify storefronts — leading to inventory mismatches, order delays, and operational overhead.
Solution
Built a bidirectional middleware layer on Lobster, routing events through an Azure ServiceBus and implementing Lobster _data pipelines to handle orders, inventory, and product data across all environments in real time.
Outcome
Manual data entry between ERP and commerce eliminated. Real-time inventory accuracy across all storefronts. Architecture scales cleanly to additional Shopify environments with minimal adjustments needed.
